Good Practice Policy and Terms & Conditions of the Business

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexology (AoR) since 9th June 2024. Being a full member of the AoR demonstrates that I have a nationally  recognised Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology, obtained at the London School of Reflexology, part of Regents University.

   As an AoR member:

  • I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.
  • I follow the AoR Good Practice Policy and Hygiene guidance to ensure my client's safety.
  • I will always be adequately insured for medical malpractice/professional indemnity requirements.
  • I comply with AoR Continuing Professional Development requirement which ensures my practice is up to date.
  • I am compliant with GDPR data protection, please see my separate Privacy Policy. Your information will always remain confidential.
  • As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist with MAR status, I will provide you with the appropriate bespoke treatment and support.

I have health requests of my clients as follows:
If you have a cough, fever, or loss of taste and smell or have been in touch with someone with these symptoms, please contact me as we may need to postpone your appointment.

   Fees:
My fees are either payable in advance as part of a treatment package or in full at the time of treatment.

-First session includes consultation, foot reading and treatment plan (1h15m) - £80

-Individual Reflexology Treatment (45m) - £60

-Course of 6 - Pay 5, Get 1 Free - £300
*This treatment has to be used within 6 months.

*Where an appointment is booked and missed, my Cancelation Policy will apply, and an amount will be deducted from those remaining.

   Cancelation Policy
I have a 24-hour cancelation policy. My business is dependent on the number of clients I can I can see during my working hours. Therefore, if you are unable to make a previously arranged appointment, I request that you provide me with at least 24 hours of notice. This will allow me to book clients that are in waiting list. Less than 24 hours notice may result in a fair use of 100% of my usual Reflexology treatment cost.

   â€‹Deposits
I request a deposit of 50% of my usual appointment fee from all my clients. Appointments made under this deposit scheme can be rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice. With less than 24 hours notice, the deposit will be withheld as stated in my cancelation policy above.

   Vouchers
The client has the option of buying a voucher for my treatments. These may be given as gifts. These treatments are fully flexible and follow the same terms as stated in the cancelation policy. Please refer that you have a voucher when booking the appointment, (so that a deposit is not requested) and these treatments can be booked during my normal working hours. You can reschedule any voucher appointment with more than 24 hours notice. Cancelation or reschedule of appointments with less than 24 hours notice is not possible and will invalidate the voucher. These vouchers are non-refundable, nor will they be exchanged for the equivalent cash value. Vouchers will have an expiration date of 3 months from the date of purchase.

   Use of background music
I only play Royalty free music within my business and therefore I am not required to have a music license. Unless you are in your own home, I am unable to play your preferred music selection.
